This has been a theme this week and whilst I observe and understand the different things that go on in my life and the life of others. I have been aware that the space and time we allow ourselves to reflect on our thoughts and emotions can be so powerful. It is a useful activity that supports change and processing how we are responding to our environment. It might be useful to remind ourselves to show our thoughts some compassion and not use it as an opportunity to be critical of ourselves. Think about the language you use with the thoughts and explore by using more than one perspective and notice whether you are responding based on your emotions. Remind yourself that your thoughts and emotions are not always based on facts so check in whether they are based on opinions and where do these opinions come from.
